  1. Middle Eastern Cabbage and Ground beef*
    2 T. olive oil
4 carrots, thinly sliced (cheat: can of sliced carrots)
    1 onion, chopped
    dash of salt or accent
Tbspn of ginger pounder (or ½ fresh)
    black pepper
    red crushed pepper
    ground cumin
    turmeric
    head cabbage, shredded
    banana peppers (jar)
    cilantro
    2 cups of ground beef

Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Sautee ground beef in a separate pan w/ seasoning, once browned set aside; sautee carrots w/ turmeric, cumin, 1/3 cup of banana peppers (a little juice adds kick); add cabbage w/ black pepper and cook another 10-15minutes, stirring occasionally. Cooking in a wok medium heat helps cabbage stay crisp.

Serves 6 to 8 people depending on serving size.
    Good over rice.
*leave ground beef out to make an excellent vegetarian dish. This is a 30min. meal.
